ADUN Nangka Hapuskan Spekulasi Pilhan Raya Sarawak

Utusan Borneo Posted on December 29, 2010, Wednesday

KUCHING: Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri (ADUN) Nangka selama tiga penggal, Datuk Awang Bemee Awang Ali Basah menafikan spekulasi beliau tidak akan mempertahankan kerusinya pada pilihan raya negeri akan datang.

Datuk Awang Bemee Awang Ali Basah

Abang Ariffin mendapat 1,387 undi.

No UTUSAN MALAYSIA or Cuit Zaini Hassan for 3 months!!!

2 September 2010, Saturday

KUCHING - When the CM is busy officiating many officials function across Sarawak, suddenly there is this columnist on UTUSAN asking our beloved CM to step down.  Who is he to give such comments?  Does he not know that our CM is being requested to continue our fight by the people and against his own will? Please Zaini open up your mind and your eyes. Even JPUNS agree that there is no other leader as great as our CM!!!

You only received SMS from 1000 friends but CM on the other hand, has supports from all over Sarawak to continue the fight to bring Sarawak to be a developed country.  In this blog you could find articles where you could witnessed the Sarawakians from all over the division gathered around to surprise him on the day he returned from visiting his grandchildren and family abroad.  Then, he made the announcement to continue the spirit of 1963.  He already made his promise to help Sarawakians with the introduction of  new strategic economic plan that will continue to increase the economic, wealth and development across Sarawak.  Do you know how big is Sarawak?  Do you know Sarawak is rich with unique background and blessed with many cultures?  You and Dr John Brian should come down to Sarawak instead of writing from "abroad".

Even the mighty Kuala Lumpur cannot manage the Kampung Baru and took many years to develop yet you want to swim across the South China Sea to bring down our CM.  Are you nuts?

We would like you to come over to Sarawak, have feast in the longhouse. Walk the Waterfront and admire the New Dewan Undangan Negeri.  We would want you to stroll along all the shops and you could see 1Malaysia in front of you.  Chinese, Malay and the Dayaks would be seen smiling and greeting each others sometimes sharing the table to enjoy Mee Jawa or Laksa.  We want Sarawak to stay as Sarawak and not like the Malayans where Chinese doesn't enter the Malay shop or buy from the Malay whilst the Malay only eat at the Malay shop. We are 1Sarawak and we support the leadership of our CM.

If you need further reading materials please find those links to all fellow Sarawakians bloggers in one voice to express that they disagree with your article to ask our CM to step down.

Please have a bit of integrity and don't become a bad name to UTUSAN.

I am now boycotting UTUSAN for allowing you to publish such articles for 3 months!!!!

Below are few words from the Sarawak blogosphere... for you

rajahmas have a note for you http://rajahmas.blogspot.com/2010/09/penulis-utusan-zaini-hassan-apa-masalah.html.

Azmin’s ‘nonsensical’ promise to return native land misleading — Naroden

taken from sebanaku-sarawak
27 September 2010, Monday

KUCHING: Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) vice president Azmin Ali, who is vying for the party’s number two position, was ticked off by a state assistant minister for making ‘nonsensical statement’ on native customary land.

The Gombak MP had told a gathering at Rumah Rangong in Ulu Niah near Miri last Saturday of PKR’s promise to the people of Sarawak that their land would be returned to them if Pakatan Rakyat (PR) governs the state.

But according to Assistant Minister of Planning and Resource Management, Mohd Naroden Hj Majais, there is no question of returning native customary rights land (NCL) to the people of Sarawak as the present government never took any land from the natives.

“How can you return something that you never took away? Clearly the PKR’s vice president’s promise is a nonsensical statement and a political gimmick to mislead the people,” Naroden said.

“The government is confident that the people will not be easily taken in by empty promises made by those who have yet to prove their capability in improving the well-being of the people, particularly the rural folks.

‘Government can help resolve problems faced by rural people’

“With the implementation of the land initiative, survey and issuance of land title, it has been proven that the government can help resolve problems faced by the rural people with regards to native customary land, and at the same time, ensure continuous rural development,” said Naroden in a press statement faxed to the local media yesterday.

He pointed out that all this while, the government has always recognised NCL and there are lawful methods under Section 5 of the Land Code of creating such land.

He also said existing NCL are also protected under Section 15 of the Land Code which states that “such land shall not be alienated or be used for a public purpose until all customary rights have been surrendered or terminated or provision for compensating the persons entitled thereto have been made”’.

“The issuance of Provisional Leases for Large-Scale Plantations, License for Planted Forests and Timber License always excludes native customary land.

“Where native customary land are acquired by the government for development projects, there are provisions under Section 5(3) and (4) of the Land Code for the payment of adequate compensation,” said Naroden who is also Assistant Minister in the Chief Minister’s Department and assistant treasurer of Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB).

On the new initiative, he said the government is carrying out perimeter survey of native customary land throughout the state for eventual gazettal as Native Communal Reserves.

The next stage of this initiative, he pointed out, is the survey of individual lots for issuance of Section 18 titles.

“This task requires cooperation from the locals to identify the boundaries of their individual lots before the surveyors from the Land and Survey Department can move,” he said.

On a related matter, he said the Land and Survey Department is also embarking on a continuous exercise to survey and issue land titles to land within traditional kampung (villages). He revealed that to date, about 35,990 titles have been issued under this programme which is ongoing.

“The government not only recognises native customary land but also vigorously tries to develop it through the NCR Land Development Concept which is for the economic well-being of the rakyat (people),” he said.

Kempen "Selamatkan Sarawak daripada Orang Malaya " dilancarkan oleh Sebanaku-Sarawak

Tuesday, September 21, 2010

"OUR STAND ON "Save Sarawak from Malayans" campaign

Oh God!!! Please help us to save Sarawak from Malayans!!!

This is our stand:
We, as the populace of one of the three regions that formed Malaysia, strongly against any effort by any Malayan (regardless of which political party – be it Barisan Nasional (BN) or Pakatan Rakyat (PR) - he or she is belonged to) to insult our intelligence by 'demanding' us to 'obey' their 'instruction' or 'suggestion' to remove our leaders, regardless of whether they are from BN or PR, who have been elected by the majority of the rakyat of Sarawak.

We don't want any Malayan to tell us – as if the Sarawakians are stupid or blind – on who should be our leaders as if we are not capable in making our own decision.

We want all Malayan leaders to respect our leaders - be they from BN or PR.

And also respect the populace who has elected these leaders.

Let us, as the populace of the Sarawak Region, decide our own political affairs.

Thank you.

Sebanaku Sarawak"

Sarawak for Sarawakians!!"
